At Global Timber, we create a Corporate Social Responsibility report every other year.
The purpose of our CSR reports is to document- and make our sustainable initiatives transparent.
Sustainability is a core value at Global Timber, and we have documented our journey towards a greener footprint since 2018.

Global Timber is an active and engaged member of the Danish Wood Association that ensures that its members must source wood within sustainable principles while the members must also control their suppliers’ environmental responsibility.
In securing sustainable forest management, Global Timber recognizes the work of and supports The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) schemes.

A forest that pays is a forest that stays
When sustainably managed, all types of forests are renewable ecosystems that provides essential goods and services to people worldwide.
Working closely with sawmills around the world, we help grow the forestry sector and sustain rural communities. By paying a fair, competitive price for the products, we provide the produceres with an incentive to keep the forest standing.
Despite the general negative belief, logging respects the sustainable management principles and this secures large forest areas to remain standing in the long term and avoids deforestation.
EPD documents
An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a standardized and verified document that communicates transparent and comparable information about the environmental impact of a product. We have completed an EPD for sawn wood from the Congo Bassin, and you can find it below.
