Red Oak
American red oak has a light to medium brown often with a red glow colour. The American Red Oak has wide rings and coarser texture opposite the European oak. However, the color may vary. The splint is white to light brown. Red oak has open pores, which makes it easier to dry than white oak. Used for floors, fixtures, mouldings and furniture.
